Throwback Player of the Day and Trivia Answer

Who is the only fullback to make the Pro Bowl without a single carry in the regular season?

Sam Gash
Patriots Fullback 1992-1997

Sam Gash had an outstanding career with the Pats, Bills, and Ravens. In 1999 with the Bills he caught 20 balls for 163 yards and 0 carries for 0 yards, but played well enough to start in the Pro Bowl for the AFC. Gash was the perfect blocking fullback. He blocked for All-Pro's Curtis Martin, Jamal Lewis, Thurman Thomas, and Willis McGahee. Bill Parcells mentioned his value to the Pats 1996 AFC championship team in his postgame speech. Along with former T.P.of the D. Ben Coates, he picked up a deserved Super Bowl ring with the 2000 Ravens.
