Throwback Player of the Day

Milt Palacio
Celtics Guard (2000-2002)

Journeyman doesn't begin to describe Palacio's career. The Colorado State guard from Belize went undrafted in 1999 and wound up in Boston after a short stint with the Grizzlies. Three more NBA teams in four years led to 8 different stops in 6 European cities, where he currently still plays. Milt made an impact in his stay at the Garden, playing in over 40 games both seasons here as a backup guard to Paul Pierce and the revolving door at point guard during that time. His career highlight also came in Boston, when he beat then rival New Jersey on a 30 foot desperation three pointer in December of 2000.
