Throwback Player of The Day

Bronson Arroyo
(2003-2005)
The cornrows, the high leg kick, and one of the best number 5 starters the Red Sox have ever had. Arroyo  posted a 24-19 record and a 3.97 ERA with the Sox over three seasons. He was apart of the 2004 World Series championship team and played a big role in ending "the curse." Arroyo was traded to the Cincinnati after the 2005 season for Willy Mo Pena. Needless to say, this trade wasn't one of Theo's best.  Arroyo was also the pitcher on the mound during one of the best Red Sox/Yankees brawls of all time.
